What is free
The base Global PC client is listed as free to play. You do not need a traditional purchase price to start after public launch.
Optional paid systems
The official Launch FAQ identifies paid cosmetic items, a Battle Pass and an optional membership. Read the live store descriptions before buying because contents and prices can change.
How to judge competitive impact
Separate convenience, economy access, time savings, cosmetics and direct combat power. A useful evaluation names the exact paid benefit and patch rather than applying a label without evidence.
